Driver & Guide (Harpers Ferry)
We are looking to hire a part-time, on-call driver/guide based out of HI-Harpers Ferry Hostel in Knoxville, Md. This is more than just a driving job — it’s interacting with foreign travelers, being there to help hostellers learn about America, and acting as a good host and guide. If you love to travel and meet new people, then this is the job for you!
The majority of driving will be in a 7 pax minivan. However, the ability to learn to drive a 22 foot, 15 pax minibus on occasion would be helpful. A CDL license is not required for vehicles with seating capacity less than 16 passengers.
The majority of driving is a scheduled route between Harpers Ferry and D.C. several times a week, late morning to early afternoon. The exact days are yet to be determined. On-call time will be scheduling and driving hostel guests to local destinations.
This is an exempt position. Pay starts at $10/hour. You must be at least 25 years of age and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.

The majority of driving is a scheduled route between Washington, D.C., IAD and BWI airports, and Baltimore, Md., in the early afternoon. On-call time will be for private small group charters or other tours and trips.
